Taking Actions

Types of Actions

Assigning Deals

Example: “Assign the Acme deal to Julia”

Response: “Assigned to Julia. Follow-up set for 10:00 AM tomorrow.”

Creating Tasks

Example: “Create a follow-up for the Siemens deal tomorrow at 2 PM”

Response: “Task created: Follow-up on Siemens deal - Tomorrow at 2:00 PM”

Sending Notifications

Example: “Notify Julia about the new Acme deal”

Response: “Notification sent to Julia on Slack.”

Updating Status

Example: “Move the Acme deal to negotiation stage”

Response: “Updated: Acme deal moved to Negotiation stage.”

Combining Actions

You can combine multiple actions in one request:

Example: “Assign the Acme deal to Julia and notify her manager”

Response: “Completed:

  1. Assigned Acme deal to Julia
  2. Notification sent to Manager”

Action Confirmations

Every action provides confirmation in the chat:

  • Success: “Assigned to Julia. Follow-up set for 10:00 AM tomorrow.”
  • Error: “Unable to assign deal: Julia is not available. Would you like to assign to someone else?”

Best Practices

Be Specific

Good:

  • “Show me deals over $50K in the EMEA region that haven’t been updated in 7 days”
  • “Assign the Acme deal ($150K) to Julia Martinez”

Less Effective:

  • “Show me some deals”
  • “Assign that deal”

Use Business Terminology

Worqlo understands:

  • Pipeline, deals, reps, win rate
  • Your organization’s specific terms
  • Stage names, regions, products

Ask Follow-ups

Build on previous answers:

  • “Show me more details about that deal”
  • “Who owns those deals?”
  • “Compare that to last month”
  • “Now notify Julia about the assignment”
  • “Create a follow-up task for that deal”

Verify Before Acting

For important actions, ask for details first:

  • “Show me the Acme deal details before I assign it”
  • “What’s the current status before I update it?”

Workflow Optimization

Start with Insights, Then Act

  1. Ask questions to understand the situation

Example Conversations

Conversation 1: Pipeline Analysis

You: “What’s our current pipeline?”

Worqlo: “Your total pipeline is $2.4M across 45 deals. Breakdown by stage:

  • Discovery: $800K (12 deals)
  • Negotiation: $1.2M (18 deals)
  • Proposal: $400K (15 deals)”

You: “Show me the deals in negotiation”

Worqlo: [Returns list of deals in negotiation stage]

Conversation 2: Taking Action on At-Risk Deals

You: “Show me deals at risk”

Worqlo: “Found 5 deals that may be at risk:

  1. Acme Corp - $150K - No activity in 14 days
  2. TechStart Inc - $80K - Stage unchanged for 21 days …”

You: “Assign the first one to Julia”

Worqlo: “Assigned Acme Corp deal ($150K) to Julia Martinez. Follow-up set for tomorrow at 10:00 AM.”

Security

  • Understand your permissions
  • Verify before taking important actions
  • All actions are logged in audit trails
